ORA is a cafe specialising in offering healthy foods. It will bring the tastes of Thailand to Norwich with a range of breakfasts and brunches which will include acai bowls, power shakes, power toasties and superfood snacks.
It will also serve a range of classic coffees, “healthy” soft drinks, wellness shots, green tea powder and herbal teas.
Owner Milly Chalcraft, 24, was inspired to start the cafe by a recent trip to Thailand.
“Health and fitness have been a huge part of my life for the last seven years and I found an amazing wellness cafe in Phuket that I knew was something I wanted to open when I got back home,” she said.
“There’s nothing really like it in Norwich and I am convinced there is a market for it so I want to create a space that is relaxing and calm while providing food that is nourishing, filling and tasty.”
Hungry shoppers can choose from a number of different toppings for their acai bowls, such as fruits and homemade granola, as well as bee pollen, goji berries and nut butter.
There is even a Biscoff and Nutella one for those with a sweet tooth.
“The Royal Arcade is the ideal location,” Milly added.
“Not only is the unit a perfect fit for ORA but it is now full of a great mix of stores, all offering something a little bit different to what you get on the high street. I just can’t wait to get started.”
Milly sister Grace will be helping to run the cafe.
The young business owner is aiming for a late October or early November opening and has already begun to fit out the shop, previously home to Lauren Rose Interior Design.
It will open from 8am to 4pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 2pm on Sunday.
