Our new food hall, Yalm, has unveiled the name of its first kitchen – Eric’s Pizza. Eric’s is already well known for both its pizza and fish and chips restaurants in Thornham, Holt and St Ives. Titchwell Manor in North Norfolk is also part of the family group of businesses and has been owned by the Snaith family since 1988..
Eric’s Pizza specialises in hand-stretched Neapolitan pizza made on site from 24-hour fermented dough, cooked the traditional way in a wood oven. It will bring its authentic Italian-style pizzas, using freshly sourced ingredients, to the new city centre venue that is set to announce five more kitchens in the coming weeks. Eric’s Pizza was opened by Eric Snaith and his team in the summer of 2020, at Drove Orchards in Thornham, next door to Eric’s Fish & Chips restaurant. It has quickly become a Norfolk institution.
Dan Searle, Operations Manager at Yalm, said, “I am delighted to announce Eric’s Pizza will be in Yalm. Eric’s is a bit of a Norfolk treasure so I am particularly pleased that we are able to bring this much-loved piece of North Norfolk to the city centre. The Royal Arcade is an iconic building in which to house Yalm and the new stores that have opened and are about to open have breathed new life into it. I fully expect our eventual line-up of kitchens in Yalm will offer the people of Norwich an unrivalled choice in dining experiences. I’ll be able to announce some of the other kitchens very soon, so watch this space!”
Eric Snaith, Owner of Eric’s Pizza, said, “Being a resident kitchen in Yalm is going to be fantastic for our business. We have built a loyal following of customers in North Norfolk and I hope that we can do the same in Norwich. It’s very exciting to be a core part of the regeneration of the building and what will be a new proposition to the diners of Norwich.
