Royal Arcade interior design showroom hosts Sky Arts TV contestant’s first solo exhibition

Lauren Rose Interior Design in the Royal Arcade is hosting a week-long exhibition, from 5-13 November, featuring emerging local artist and textiles designer Eden Mullane, who was a contestant on last year’s Sky Arts TV programme, Landscape Artist of the Year. The exhibition is a celebration of Eden’s multicultural heritage and will showcase her work on the first floor gallery, where she will also be running live painting sessions and offering tips for budding artists.

Born in Norfolk, Eden’s work explores her British and Caribbean provenance, using broad brushstrokes and rich colours to create vibrant landscapes which spark the imagination.

In February 2021, she was featured as a contestant on the Landscape artist of the Year programme.

Eden said, “I am very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to showcase my work firstly on the Sky Arts TV programme and now in Lauren’s showroom. Being from Norfolk, I have always loved the architecture of the Royal Arcade, so I am delighted to be able to exhibit my work in such an iconic building. I am looking forward to meeting everyone, whether it is to view my work or simply to come in and chat about their artistic inspirations.”

Lauren Rose Interior Design is owned by Lauren Collins-Hines and provides interior design services to customers. She said, “Being in such a beautiful space is inspiring, especially if you are in a creative business. It’s what  motivated me to invite Eden to use our first floor space as a gallery and workshop for the week to display her pieces, showcase her skills as an artist and share some hints and tips with other artists. I love her work and own one of her pieces.”
