JUNI & CO beauty and wellness store unveiled as Royal Arcade’s newest tenant

We are delighted to announce our newest tenant is JUNI & CO who will open in unit 4 later this year.

Juni & Co is the new sister brand of award-winning*1 Juni Cosmetics which is co-owned by make-up artist Madeleine White and her mother Suzanne White, who launched the business in April 2020. The store will stock the full range of Juni lip care and colour products alongside a carefully curated selection of other beauty and wellness brands – both well-known and niche. The team is completed by Louise Thomas-Minns who will be acting as the store’s Skin Health Consultant.

As well as selling beauty products, Juni & Co will also offer expert advice, consultancy services and treatments.

The Juni Cosmetics brand is 100% plastic-free, vegan and organic. It is committed to being truly sustainable avoiding plastic packaging and instead opting for aluminium because of its recycling quality. It also runs a Return & Refill programme to enable customers to send back their empty Juni packaging free in return for a 10% discount on their next purchase. The packaging is then cleaned and used again.

Madeleine said, “ We have been successful in selling our products online and have won awards for them but the opportunity to have a store in such a prime location as the Royal Arcade Norwich is so exciting and will be such a boost for our profile and a great opportunity to introduce the people of Norwich to beauty and wellness ranges that are kind to our planet too. In line with the whole ambience of the Royal Arcade, our store will provide an experiential visit where our experts will be able to help customers to choose what’s right for them.”

Juni Cosmetics can be found in many independent Norwich stores, spas, pop-ups and in retailers in around the world. Madeleine had a previous career in modelling and was also a make-up artist working on fashion events, TV programmes and feature films including Victoria and Abdul and The Voyages of Dr Doolittle. She was named as the Cosmetic Executive Women Young Achiever of the Year for 2021. Juni & Co plans to open in September with an event featuring goody bags and the founders of some of the brands it stocks in attendance.

Madeleine has big plans for the store, working with local commercial designers KayKew to fully refurbish the unit. She added, “The store’s ambience is very important in creating the right environment for our customers. We want our shop to be an oasis of calm, a place for our customers to relax and speak openly and confidentially to our experts about their skincare and beauty concerns.”

Simon Ashdown, Director of LPC1 Ltd, the property management company running the Arcade on behalf of the owners, said, “It’s great news to welcome Juni & Co to the Royal Arcade Norwich family of independent retailers. It gives shoppers another great reason to come into our fantastic building and its offering and approach to business very much reflects the ethos of the Arcade. I am looking forward to the official opening already as it will definitely bring a unique presence to Norwich, complementing what’s on offer from our other tenants Stompers, Sonkai Jewellers, Sapphire Chocolates, Lauren Rose Interior Design, Gyre & Gimble and Lady B Loves.”
